Lake Wisconsin winters are hard on a shoreline. Ice heave, wave action, and freeze-thaw cycles will find every shortcut in a rushed install. We build shorelines the slow way, so you only pay for it once.

We grade the bank, set a proper base, and stack rock or trap rock so it locks together instead of sliding out from under itself after the first hard winter. Every install is sized to your shoreline's exposure, a sheltered bay needs a different approach than an open, wind-facing stretch.

Shoreline Repair & Restack

Most shoreline problems aren't visible until rock has already started shifting. We pull the existing rock, fix the base underneath it (that's usually where the real problem is), and restack it properly, often reusing your existing material to keep the cost down.

Why It Matters

The base is the whole job.

Anyone can stack rock along a bank. What separates a shoreline that lasts 20 years from one that needs redoing in five is almost entirely invisible once the job is done: how the base was graded, how the first course was set, and whether the rock is keyed together or just piled up. We've been doing this in Amery and around Polk County's lakes since 1992, we've seen what fails and why, and we build accordingly.
